Meet the Team Series: Eroy, Company Tour Coordinator
Our team calls him Eroy from his given name, Rey Anthony. "I never liked the hustle and bustle of the city and have always been drawn to the island life.
I used to be based and had my training on Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan. When I first visited Siargao Island back in 2018 – there was a sense of community here, of warmth, and rhythm of life. I was a visitor at first but before long, I found myself belonging.
I've been with Travel Essentials Siargao for three (3) years now but you know work doesn't feel monotonous to me. Whether I was organizing our tours, assisting valued guests, or simply sharing the magic of the island with newcomers, I realized I wasn’t just doing a job – I was becoming part of someone's story, someone's unforgettable escape and that feeling to me is hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.
I came to Siargao for work and eventually stayed because I fell in love with the life it gave me."
