This applies for fully vaccinated tourists!

Gov. Lalo Matugas issued Sixth Supplement to EO No. 21-010, s. 2021, thereby adopting and implementing IATF Resolution No. 124-B, s. 2021 with regard to recognition of:

a.) COVID-19 domestic vaccination card duly issued by legitimate vaccinating establishment for individuals fully vaccinated for COVID-19; or

b.) Certificate of Quarantine Completion showing the holder's vaccination status issued by the Bureau of Quarantine"

as a SUBSTITUTE to Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test (taken within forty eight (48) hours or two (2) days from the date of release of the result).

Note: An individual shall be considered as having been fully vaccinated for COVID-19:

i. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose series, or

ii. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine.

iii. The vaccines administered to the individual are included in any of the following:

1. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List of Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or

2. Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.

UPDATE FROM Surigao del Norte STOP COVID Action Center

Guidelines and protocols in boarding AIRPLANES AND OTHER AIRCRAFTS going to Siargao Airport or Surigao Airport effective December 1, 2020 based on Executive Order No. 20-054, s. 2020 An Order Rationalizing Economic Recovery in Relation to Mitigating Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Transmission in the Province.

Boarding requirements for Tourists:

1. Negative result on RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date of arrival in this Province
2. Surigao del Norte e-Health Pass
3. Valid Identification Card
4. Confirmed booking from any of the resort, hotel, or hostel in the Province
5. Travel Itinerary in Surigao del Norte
6. Roundtrip ticket

Those who cannot present completely the requirements mentioned above shall be deported back to the place of origin at the returning flight of the same aircraft on the same day at the cost of the concerned passengers and/or the concerned airline company.

It’s finally happening guys!
𝐒𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞-𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬.
Visitors arriving at Sayak Airport will be required to present the following:

✅ e-Health pass with a valid ID (get it here 👉🏼 https://covid19.ssct.edu.ph/sdn/register/healthpass)
✅ negative RT-PCR result taken within 48 hours prior to arrival
✅ 5-day confirmed booking from an accommodation with a Certificate of Authority to Operate (CAO) or Provisional Certificate of Authority to Operate (PCAO) from the DOT, and
✅ round-trip ticket

📌 No 14-day quarantine 👌🏼

📌 If the RT-PCR test was taken more than 48 hours, visitors must have a negative rapid antigen test result upon arrival.

📌 Local flights will resume in December 1, 2020

This online health declaration form (in lieu of manual/written health declaration) will automatically generate the e-HEALTH Pass that can be printed or stored in mobile devices.

LGU General Luna Releases New Travel Guidelines & Protocols

The municipality of General Luna has issued Executive Order No. 015, Series of 2020: “An order prescribing travel guidelines and protocols in response to the opening of Siargao Airport and the open border policy of the province and for other purposes”

Both Sayak and Surigao Airport have been pronounced by the provincial government to re-open on Dec 1, 2020.

Travel guidelines and requirements:
For Outbound Travel:
Within the Province:
1. ID
2. e Health Pass

For Outside the Province
1. e Health Pass
2. Valid ID
3. Medical Certificate
4. Travel Authority
5. Requirements required by receiving LGU

Tourist Requirements: Entering via Sayak Airport and Surigao Airport:

1. E Health Pass with Valid ID
2. Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 48 hrs of departure from point of origin.
3. 5 Day confirmed booking from an accommodation establishment with CAO or PCAO
4. Roundtrip ticket / travel details (if applicable)
5. If the tourist presents a negative RT-PCR test result taken more 48 hrs from point of origin, a negative antigen swab test will be required on the day of arrival.

“All Inbound and Returning Individuals such as tourists, LSIs, ROFs, and APORs shall no longer be required to undergo quarantine except for the following reasons:

1. No RT-PCR or Antigen negative result for inbound and returning individuals from outside the province until such time that he/she can present such negative swab test result.

2. No baranggay certification that he/she is not a close contact of the confirmed positive case in any level, for inbound and returning individuals within the province including Siargao Municipalities with confirmed local transmission until such time that he/she can present negative swab test result.

3. Asymptomatic confirmed COVID-19 positive for 14 days in the Municipal Isolation Unit

4. Close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 positive for 14 days in the Municipal Quarantine Facility

- Symptomatic confirmed COVID-19 positive shall be brought directly to the hospital in Surigao City.

- Baranggays and accommodation management shall be responsible in the strict monitoring and management of all inbound and returning individuals such as tourists, LSIs, ROFs, and APORs. Concerned agencies and LGU personnel shall likewise, take part in the implementation of the new normal protocols, and monitoring of the concerned individuals.”
