LGU General Luna Releases New Travel Guidelines & Protocols
The municipality of General Luna has issued Executive Order No. 015, Series of 2020: โAn order prescribing travel guidelines and protocols in response to the opening of Siargao Airport and the open border policy of the province and for other purposesโ
Both Sayak and Surigao Airport have been pronounced by the provincial government to re-open on Dec 1, 2020.
Travel guidelines and requirements:
For Outbound Travel:
Within the Province:
1. ID
2. e Health Pass
For Outside the Province
1. e Health Pass
2. Valid ID
3. Medical Certificate
4. Travel Authority
5. Requirements required by receiving LGU
Tourist Requirements: Entering via Sayak Airport and Surigao Airport:
1. E Health Pass with Valid ID
2. Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 48 hrs of departure from point of origin.
3. 5 Day confirmed booking from an accommodation establishment with CAO or PCAO
4. Roundtrip ticket / travel details (if applicable)
5. If the tourist presents a negative RT-PCR test result taken more 48 hrs from point of origin, a negative antigen swab test will be required on the day of arrival.
โAll Inbound and Returning Individuals such as tourists, LSIs, ROFs, and APORs shall no longer be required to undergo quarantine except for the following reasons:
1. No RT-PCR or Antigen negative result for inbound and returning individuals from outside the province until such time that he/she can present such negative swab test result.
2. No baranggay certification that he/she is not a close contact of the confirmed positive case in any level, for inbound and returning individuals within the province including Siargao Municipalities with confirmed local transmission until such time that he/she can present negative swab test result.
3. Asymptomatic confirmed COVID-19 positive for 14 days in the Municipal Isolation Unit
4. Close contacts of the confirmed COVID-19 positive for 14 days in the Municipal Quarantine Facility
- Symptomatic confirmed COVID-19 positive shall be brought directly to the hospital in Surigao City.
- Baranggays and accommodation management shall be responsible in the strict monitoring and management of all inbound and returning individuals such as tourists, LSIs, ROFs, and APORs. Concerned agencies and LGU personnel shall likewise, take part in the implementation of the new normal protocols, and monitoring of the concerned individuals.โ
