WE STAND WITH PRRD
Former President Rody Duterte remains the only Philippine leader to launch a large-scale campaign against illegal drugs.
From July 2016 to May 2021, this initiative led to 203,715 anti-drug operations, resulting in the arrest of 289,622 individuals, including 12,356 high-value targets.
Authorities dismantled 807 drug dens and clandestine laboratories, while the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported that seized drugs, controlled precursors, essential chemicals, and lab equipment were valued at ₱59.93 billion.
The campaign delivered significant results:
- 22,093 barangays were declared drug-free.
- The overall crime rate dropped by 64%.
- 3,736 children were rescued from drug-related situations.
- As of June 2021, 1,223,195 individuals voluntarily surrendered for rehabilitation.
Duterte's leadership also earned international recognition.
The Philippines improved its global standing, ranking 95th in the World Bank’s 2020 Ease of Doing Business index out of 190 economies.
HSBC ranked the country 25th as the best place to live and work in 2020.
Beyond his anti-drug campaign, Duterte led unprecedented efforts in land distribution, granting 229,289 hectares to farmers from 2016 to 2021. His administration enacted the Free Irrigation Act, benefiting 937,040 farmers, and completed major infrastructure projects, including:
- 451 seaports
- 214 airports
- 5,950 bridges
- 29,264 km of roads
Duterte also championed laws that improved millions of lives:
- 1,623,628 students received free tuition.
- 109,035,343 Filipinos gained Universal Healthcare coverage.
- 2 million individuals received medical aid through Malasakit Centers.
His economic policies lifted 6 million Filipinos out of poverty in 2018 alone, demonstrating real progress in improving livelihoods.
Despite ongoing political attacks, Duterte’s legacy remains undeniable. His leadership transformed the nation, and his impact will not be erased.
Now, as the International Criminal Court (ICC) intervenes and impeachment threats loom over VP Inday Sara Duterte, critics seek to overshadow these achievements.
The Bongbong Marcos administration is now arresting the very person who played a key role in ensuring his father’s peaceful burial at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani.
The irony is undeniable—someone who once stood in support of the Marcos family's historical closure is now facing persecution under their leadership. Never forget. Never again.
But the Filipino people stand firm. We will not back down.
Lahat— para sa Diyos, bayan, at bawat pamilyang Pilipino.
