The mountain is primarily composed of slate and sandstone, typical of Taiwanโ€™s Central Mountain Range formations. Due to its high elevation, Xueshan experiences alpine conditions, including:

YUSHAN DAY HIKE AUGUST 23, 2024.

This was our first day hike in Yushan, one of Taiwanโ€™s most renowned mountainous regions. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, as the trail presented varying terrain and elevations that tested our physical endurance. Despite these difficulties, the natural scenery provided ample motivation to forward. Congratulations again, Team!
