All Passenger/Commercial flights to and from the Philippines suspended beginning 8:00am, May 3, 2020

To help further mitigate the spread of the deadly Corona Virus in the country, the Philippine Government, through Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., Chief Implementer of the National Taskforce Against COVID-19, has decided to temporarily suspend all commercial/passenger flights to and from the country beginning 8:00am of May 3, 2020.

Cargo flights, medical supplies, utility, and maintenance flights will remain unhampered.

RECOMMENDATIONS from the College of Psychology:

1. ISOLATE YOURSELF FROM NEWS about the virus. (Everything we need to know, we already know)

2. DON’T LOOK FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION on the Internet, it would WEAKEN YOUR MENTAL STATE and could cause somatization. Avoid sending chains and fatalistic messages. Some people don't have the same mental strength as you (Instead of helping you, you could activate pathologies such as depression).

3. If possible, LISTEN TO MUSIC at home at a pleasant volume.

4. LOOK FOR BOARD GAMES to entertain children, tell stories and future plans.

5. MAINTAIN DISCIPLINE in the home by washing your hands, putting up a sign or alarm for everyone in the house.

6. YOUR POSITIVE MOOD WILL HELP PROTECT YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM, while negative thoughts have been shown to depress your immune system and make it weak against viruses.

7. Most importantly, FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL PASS and that the universe and a higher being called GOD IS A UNIVERSE OF LOVE and not punishment.

- Buy Filipino/local products or buy in local stores.
- Support companies that have had difficulties due to low or lack of sales.

👉If you have any friends who work in the Travel Industry like I do. Now is the time to be supportive, to make sure they are OK. We are going through a horrible time in the Industry due to Corona Virus. Our business is drying up and although many are too proud to admit it publicly. WE ALL can use some help. This is how you can help.

👉Do NOT book hotels online. Reach out to a travel Advisor, they won't charge you a dime to book your hotel and they will get some sort of commission from the hotel. All hotels have a commission structure built into their rates when you book directly the hotel would keep that amount as extra income.

👉Book flights with a travel advisory. Not only will he or she look for the best price available. We in some cases have either discount contracts or upgrade contracts that can save you lots of money and all for a $4.00 service fee.

👉If you think that you do not want to bother a friend with a simple request because it is nothing big. DO BOTHER all small requests do add up and are appreciated.

👉A travel advisor is able to get you more for your money, most of the time. Upgrades, hotel credit, maybe include breakfast daily, WiFi and in some cases even a dinner at the hotel restaurant or a lunch,early check in and late check out plus VIP service at NO extra cost to you.

👉Please refer your friends to the person you know. Help them get through this and in exchange your friends will reap great benefits not found on the internet.
