LOOK : In celebration of the 2024 National Museum and Galleries Month, the Gingoog Museum opens its doors to another group of passionate students from the Student Travel Club and the Gingoog Digital Creators recently joined forces to explore and capture the rich cultural heritage of Gingoog City through a guided museum tour.

This year’s theme, "Honoring Traditions, Fostering Innovation," and the IP Month theme, “Mga Katutubong Dunong: Pahalagahan, Pangalagaan, at Parangalan,” resonates with their journey as they pay tribute to our indigenous wisdom and embrace the future through creative innovation. Together, these young minds dived deep into Gingoog’s history, learning stories from the past to inspire progress for tomorrow.

Happening Now: First Aid Seminar and Basic knot tying and mountaineering course.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) is currently hosting an essential First Aid seminar at Kai Azul Beach, Gingoog City. This training, aimed at tourism tour guides and Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) members, focuses on equipping participants with critical first aid skills.

Under the expert guidance of CDRRMO trainers, attendees are learning to handle emergencies such as cuts, burns, fractures, and cardiac arrest. Practical sessions on CPR and effective use of first aid kits are also being conducted.

This initiative is a proactive step towards enhancing community safety and ensuring that both locals and tourists are well-protected. Participants are actively engaged and committed to integrating these life-saving skills into their roles.
