Subject: NO PERMISSION TO CLIMB MT. SALDAB โ PUBLIC WARNED AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED MOUNTAINEERING

The Local Government Unit of Impasugong, together with DENR-CENRO Manolo has NOT issued any permit, endorsement, or clearance to promote, organize, or conduct mountaineering activities to Mt. Saldab.
Busa, among giawhag ang publiko nga DILI MOAPIL sa bisan unsang climb, tour, or event paingon sa Mt. Saldab.
Rason sa Pagdili:
1. No Safety Assessment: Mt. Saldab has no established trail, no carrying capacity study, no rescue protocols, and no accredited local guides. Risk of accidents, getting lost, and landslides is HIGH.
2. Environmental Protection: The area is part of a watershed and ancestral domain. Unregulated entry threatens water sources, wildlife, and sacred IP sites.
3. No NCIP FPIC: The Higaonon/Bukidnon IP communities have not given Free, Prior and Informed Consent for tourism activities in Mt. Saldab.
4. DENR Policy: Mt. Saldab is not listed as an open and classified ecotourism site under DENR AO 2013-19. Entry without permit is a violation.
Sa mga Organizers/Tour Groups:
1. STOP promoting Mt. Saldab climbs on Facebook, TikTok, or group chats. Posting โopen climbโ events without LGU-DENR permit is illegal.
2. No fees should be collected for Mt. Saldab. Brgy. clearance alone is NOT valid for mountaineering.
3. Violators will be reported to DENR, NCIP, and PNP for illegal entry to forestland + violation of IPRA Law.
Sa mga Tourists/Hikers:
1. Your safety is not guaranteed. No medical team, no communication signal, no registered guides. In case of emergency, rescue will be difficult.
2. You may be held liable under PD 705 Forestry Code + RA 8371 IPRA for unauthorized entry.
3. Choose accredited sites instead: Visit Impasugong Communal Ranch, CEDAR, and other DOT/LGU-recognized destinations.
For legitimate mountain destinations in Impasugong, always look for:

โ NCIP certification if ancestral domain
โ DOT-accredited local guides
