Attention to all!

Some key takeaways from today's media briefing from Cebu Pacific Air :

1. Masbate and Siargao flights from Manila will move to Clark beginning March 30, 2025. From this date onwards, wala nang Manila-Siargao-Manila. Take note, tourists. 😊

If you have already bought tickets to these destinations and do not wish to proceed, Cebu Pacific is offering flexible options, including rebooking and full refunds.

2. Direct services from Manila to Surigao will be cancelled also from 30th March. Passengers to Surigao are advised to connect via Cebu after this date.

3. Eventually all flights at NAIA that are operated using turborop planes will be transferred to Clark. This will aid in decongesting NAIA.

For some of the existing routes from Manila that stil utilize turboprop planes, Ceb will begin utilising jets to avoid being diverted into Clark.

4. Also beginning 30th March, Cebu Pacific will start commencing flights from Clark to El Nido and to Coron. These will be daily services. (I hope to fly this one this year!!)

5. With the addition of 4 new routes in Clark, Cebu Pacific is now the largest airline operator in Clark with 15 destinations, 4 of them intetnational (Bangkok, Tokyo, HK and Singapore).

6. There will be no specific Cebu Pacific shuttle buses (free or otherwise) that will operate from NAIA to Clark and vv and the public is encouraged to use the existing (paid) P2P buses between the terminals. P2P buses also operate from Trinoma to Clark. Schedules are available online.

Personally, I feel the trend for the next couple of years will be towards the increased utilisation of Clark airport. Punong puno na kasi talaga ang NAIA.

These days, it's very easy even for foreigners and relatives living abroad who wish to visit the Philippine provinces and bypass Manila to connect via Clark.

I've already flown internationally from Clark, and it was a pleasant experience. I'm very likely to try again soon especially that I live in Quezon City anyway.
