Inspiring story. Honest taxi driver from Baguio gets full scholarship in Australia with family allowance and job offer.

Reggie Cabutotan, a taxi driver in Baguio, found a bag left by a passenger. Inside were a laptop, passport, and other valuables.

He took the time and effort to find the owner and returned everything without asking for anything.

Because of that, he was given a ₱220,000 scholarship to study software development. While he was studying, his family received a monthly allowance.

Reggie built an app for Baguio tourists and earned an internship in Australia. The job could pay up to ₱1.7 million a year.

From taxi driver to tech career. All because he chose to be honest.

Baguio taxi drivers are really like that. Simple. Quiet. Honest to the core. Reggie is just one of many. But this time, honesty opened the door to a new life.

God is good. What you sow is what you reap. Reggie’s story shows that doing the right thing can take you far.
