Alicia, Isabela – Dahil sa patuloy na matinding init ng panahon, maraming magsasaka sa bayan ng Alicia ang napilitang ilipat sa hatinggabi ang kanilang pagtatanim ng palay. Mula alas-11 ng gabi hanggang alas-7 ng umaga, sinasamantala nila ang malamig na oras upang maiwasan ang matinding sikat ng araw na anila'y hindi na kayang tiisin habang nagtatrabaho sa bukid.

In Celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026

To ensure fairness, quality, and transparency, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) hereby releases the official Contest Theme, Mechanics, Technical Specifications, and Criteria for Judging for all participating Barangays and Schools.

🎯 CONTEST THEME

Entries shall focus on disaster preparedness for any of the following hazards:

🌧️ Flood
🌪️ Typhoon
🌎 Earthquake
⛰️ Landslide
🔥 Fire
☀️ Extreme Heat
🌾 Drought
📍 Other community hazards relevant to the Municipality of San Pablo

All entries must clearly demonstrate the appropriate preparedness measures:

✅ Before the disaster
✅ During the disaster
✅ After the disaster

📌 GENERAL MECHANICS
✔️ Participation is FREE.
✔️ Each participating Barangay or School may submit one (1) entry per category.
✔️ Entries must be original, unpublished, and created specifically for this contest.
✔️ Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used only as supporting tools and should not replace the participants' own creativity and originality.
✔️ Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement shall automatically disqualify the entry.
✔️ Submitted entries shall become the property of the LGU San Pablo, to be used exclusively for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) advocacy, information, and educational campaigns, with proper acknowledgment of the creators.

The Local Government Unit of San Pablo, in coordination with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), informs all residents of San Pablo that the National ID Registration will be conducted from July 6 to July 31, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to refer to the attached schedule for their assigned registration date, venue, and the documentary requirements needed for registration.

Please note that the registration schedule may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Any changes or updates will be announced accordingly by the Local Government Unit of San Pablo.

The Local Government Unit of San Pablo warmly invites all San Pableños to join the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026 Kick-Off Program on July 1, 2026 (Wednesday), at 8:00 AM at the Municipal Hall Grounds. Assembly begins at 6:30 AM.
