Cebu Pacific Advisory
Cancelled Flights Due to Tropical Storm Man-Yi (Pepito)
As of November 14, 2024; 8:00 PM

Following the latest public advisories issued by PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) relating to Tropical Storm Man-Yi (Local name: Pepito), we anticipate disruption to our flight operations in the coming days.
Cebu Pacific (CEB) has cancelled the following Cebgo flights on November 15, 2024:

• DG 6839/6840: Manila – Siargao – Manila
• DG 6853/6854: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
• DG 6855/6856: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
• DG 6859/6860: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
• DG 6901/6902: Cebu – Surigao – Cebu

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and Travel Fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from the following destinations:

November 15, 2024:

• Calbayog
• Camiguin
• Siargao
• Surigao
• Tacloban

November 16-18, 2024:

• All domestic and international flights

Passengers may avail of their preferred option online up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

The safety of our passengers and crew remains our utmost priority. CEB strongly advises its passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have confirmed bookings for flights which are currently still planned to operate. Please monitor the status of your flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or on the CEB mobile app and update your contact details via the Manage Booking portal https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to receive email and SMS notifications on flight reminders.

We strongly urge our passengers to consider whether their journeys are essential and give serious consideration to rescheduling travel plans to a later date.

Based on PAGASA advisory as of October 22, 2024, Metro Manila has been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1 due to Tropical Storm "KRISTINE" There will be no departures while Typhoon warning signal is up. Passengers are advised not to proceed to the pier and monitor the latest weather advisory from PAGASA.

👉Tips on How to Get Refund on a Non-Refundable Ticket

Question: BAKIT ang mga promo tickets or low cost ticket are non-refundable?
Answer: Ang dahilan bakit may non-refundable tickets is because para ang mga airlines ay makapag offer ng ticket sa mababang halaga kaya consider sya as perishable goods, and also kaya non-refundable ang promo tickets is because to cover the operational expenses ng airlines. Kung ang low cost ticket ay magiging refundable ang airlines na po ang malulugi dahil anytime pwede magcancel ang mga pasahero - in the end ang airlines hindi nila mamemeet yung number of passengers sa bawat isang flight. So dapat po be responsible po with your travel plans. The only option for non-refundable ticket is to rebook it on other date if you can't take the flight on your original booking date. But voluntary changes can cost you as well a penalties and fare difference because technically ika-cancel mo pa rin yung ticket mo.

Question: Eh papano kung nalate ako dahil sobrang traffic.
Answer: Regardless of the reason why you can't take a flight unless it's emergency then refund or cancellation is still not allowed on a non-refundable ticket. Hindi po kasalanan ng airlines or agent na nagbook sayo kung late ka dumating sa airport lalo na kung na-advise ka ng agent mo ng tamang oras na dapat nasa airport ka na. You are the sole responsible with your own travel. In terms with emergency reason refund is subject for approval pa rin ng airlines and you need to submit necessary proof.

Tips on how to get refund on a non-refundable tickets
1. Purchasing a Cancellation Cover Insurance: This will guarantee you a refund even if your ticket is non-refundable. But this cancellation cover will still have a covered reasons so be better read all the terms and conditions.
2. Buy a higher booking class ticket or should I say Refundable Ticket but this will cost you a lot of extra money.
3. Abruptions of Flights came from the airlines - you can definitely ask for a refund though service charges and other fees and tax will be deducted to the amount you paid when you purchased the ticket.

Hope this will help for those who are confused why travel agents won't able to provide you the refunds.

Baggage Handling System at NAIA Terminal 3
October 22, 2024

Cebu Pacific is actively addressing passenger concerns regarding delayed bags due to ongoing technical issues with the baggage handling system at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

We are working closely with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) which is also exerting every effort to resolve the technical challenges as quickly as possible and restore normal operations.

CEB has established a dedicated team to manage the situation. Passengers were given the choice of having their bags delivered to their destination or picking them up at the airport for domestic flights. For international flights, a similar option was available along with delivery services for passengers with onward destinations. Our teams are doing everything in their power to expedite baggage deliveries and ensure all affected passengers are assisted promptly.

We understand the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate our passengers' patience and understanding.
