The National Museum of the Philippines – Kiangan will continue its Heritage Appreciation series, this time focusing on 𝙄𝙛𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙤 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 on November 19, 2025, at the IPED Center, Gabaldon Building, Kiangan Central School, Kiangan, Ifugao.

This lecture-workshop aims to enhance the understanding of content creators, writers, and heritage volunteers on Ifugao’s natural heritage and the significance of integrating indigenous knowledge, systems, and practices into their advocacy and creative works.

The sessions will cover discussions on Ifugao natural heritage icons, nature-culture interaction at the rice terraces of Ifugao, and a workshop on natural heritage conservation. Through this activity, participants will be guided on how to use their platforms responsibly in promoting environmental awareness and appreciation of Ifugao’s cultural and natural landscapes.

This initiative forms part of the continuing efforts of the National Museum of the Philippines - Kiangan to advance heritage education, environmental advocacy, and cultural sustainability. # #
