The Municipality of Kitaotao proudly received several recognitions during PAGDAYAW: A Night of Tourism, Culture, and Arts Excellence 2026, held at the Bukidnon Cultural and Sports Complex Auditorium in Laguitas, Malaybalay City.

Kitaotao was honored with the following awards and recognitions:

🏆 Top Digital Tourism Promoters - Bukidnon

🏆 Best in Community-Based Tourism – Kipilas Falls

🥈 Top 2 – Search for Emerging Tourist Spots – Kipilas Falls

🥉 3rd Place – Best in Cultural Festival – Alrew Te Matigsalug

🏅 Plaque of Recognition – Culture and Arts Industry – Alukuy Nu

🏅 Plaque of Recognition – Kitaotao Tourism Office

These recognitions celebrate the collective efforts of the Municipality of Kitaotao and its communities in promoting our natural attractions, cultural heritage, local traditions, and tourism initiatives.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Municipal Mayor Hon. Edwin P. Abucayan for his continued support and leadership, Municipal Tourism Officer Dr. Cynthia P. Abucayan for her dedication to advancing Kitaotao tourism, Brgy. Captain Loremer Cabaraban Sr. and the Kipilas Barangay Council for their strong support for Kipilas Falls and community-based tourism, Alukuy Nu for proudly representing Kitaotao’s culture and arts, and the Kitaotao Tourism Office staff for their hard work, commitment, and continued efforts in showcasing the beauty and heritage of our municipality.
