OPERATION TULI 2026

May 25, 2026, an Operation Tuli was held in La Libertad, bringing health services closer to the young boys in our community and promoting proper hygiene and wellness.

A total of 169 boys successfully underwent circumcision during the activity, with:
• 39 beneficiaries from the Upper Barangays
• 130 beneficiaries from the Lower Barangays

Congratulations to all the brave young boys who participated in this year’s Operation Tuli.

MASS BLOOD DONATION

A Mass Blood Donation Activity was held at the La Libertad Convention Center – Barangay South Poblacion and Barangay Pacuan, bringing together generous individuals united by one purpose — to help save lives through voluntary blood donation.

With a total of 343 successfully bled donors and an impressive 81% accomplishment rate, this activity once again showcased the compassion, unity, and bayanihan spirit of the people of La Libertad.

On the same day, an Awarding Ceremony for our Blood Galloners was also conducted in Barangay Pacuan to honor and recognize our dedicated blood donors who have selflessly donated blood at least eight (8) times during Mass Blood Donation Activities. Your unwavering commitment and generosity continue to inspire our community and give hope to countless lives.

We extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Philippine Red Cross, the Provincial Health Office of Negros Oriental, the Primary Care Facility of La Libertad, and our Municipal Government of La Libertad headed by our Municipal Mayor Hon. Lawrence D. Limkaichong, Jr. for their invaluable support, dedication, and hard work in making this activity a success.

Most importantly, thank you to all our dear blood donors, volunteers, and partners who willingly shared not only your blood, but also your compassion and humanity. Your simple act of kindness has become a priceless gift of life for those in need.

PUBLIC HEARING ALANG SA ACQUISITION AND RENTALS SA PUBLIC MARKET BUILDINGS

Usa ka malampusong Public Hearing ang gipahigayon niadtong Mayo 21, 2026 sa La Libertad Public Market Covered Court kabahin sa gisugyot nga Revised Ordinance alang sa acquisition and rentals sa bag-ong Public Market Buildings sa Barangay North Poblacion sa Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of La Libertad.

Dako kaayong pasalamat sa atong mga vendors, stakeholders, ug mga miyembro sa komunidad nga mitambong ug aktibong mipartisipar sa maong kalihokan. Ang inyong mga suhestiyon, opinyon, ug pangutana adunay dakong papel aron masiguro nga ang maong ordinansa mahimong patas, organisado, ug mapuslanon alang sa tanan.

Ang ordinansa nagtumong sa pagtakda sa binulan nga abang, guidelines sa bidding, ug mga lagda sa pag-okupar sa mga stalls, cubicles, wet market tables, food court spaces, ug uban pang lugar sa merkado. Pinaagi sa panaghiusa ug pagpakigpulong, mas mapalambo nato ang serbisyo ug kahimtang sa atong pampublikong merkado alang sa kaayohan sa tibuok komunidad, nga gitakda sa Local Government Code of 1991 of the Philippines or R.A. 7160.

As part of our Pandanyag 2026 celebration, during the Fiesta Day last April 25, 2026, the exciting BANGKA (Bugsay) RACE and LUMBA LANGOY were successfully held at the La Libertad River, joined exclusively by proud local participants and residents of La Libertad. This fun traditional activity was truly a perfect way to showcase the spirit and talent of our community!

The PANDANYAG PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT was a huge success last April 23-24, 2026, held at the North Poblacion Covered Court!

We were thrilled to welcome so many players for the two-day event, not only from La Libertad but also from various neighboring municipalities and cities. It was an exciting gathering of skill, sportsmanship and camaraderie that made the tournament extra special.
