Laoag city, the capital of Ilocos Norte can be proud to say that it has one of the few International Airports located in the country which, at its time of construction, one of the most beautiful and the only International Airport outside of the Manila International Airport. Marcos had it improved and what it is now was then the airport as envisioned by the President, as part of the North Quadrangle program including highways from Manila to the tip of Northern Luzon. Presently, the airport terminal complex has now two terminals buildings, with the recent addition of an arrival building to accommodate local and international passengers from Asia, namely China, Hongkong, Taipei. Tourism had taken an active role in the over-all economic development of the nation and without transportation, via Air or land it would be a failure. However recognizing the potentials of the Laoag International airport as a gateway to the pristine, natural scenic tourist spots of Northern Luzon, Philippine Airlines, together with the Cebu Pacific Air had made it their, then and only Airlines destination to the north in Ilocos Norte which eventually led to the opening of other airports such as Tuguegarao and Cauayan in Cagayan as well as in Basco Batanes. iLOWCOaST Travel and Tours is just a late bloomer in the travel and tour industry In Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. However, while a little late than latter, it has observed and studied the intricacies of the travel and tours business, taking into account the pitfalls that has plagued some of the existing travel agencies and after sometime set up its shingle and opened to the public on June 08, 2008. iLOWCOaST Travel and Tours had a modest beginning since the other travel agencies had garnered ‘’exclusive wholesaling” privileges, but thanks to personalized services ‘’ which iLOWCOaST Travel and Tours offers its clients, it has established a foothold in the travel and tours business. A slow and steady growth and “service oriented” operation with the customer satisfaction as a prime object has placed it where it is now. We have been given the privilege to be the “THIRD” Cebu Pacific wholesaler in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. Since iLOWCOaST Travel and Tours is family run business, we are open to the public on Sundays and public holidays to service the airline needs of airline passengers, since most travel agencies are closed on Sundays and legal holidays.
