There are few pleasures as indulgent as dining at sea, where the rhythm of the waves sets the pace for an afternoon of good food, laughter, and celebration. The VIP Yacht Party of the Bucket Shrimps Restaurant offered precisely that — an exclusive culinary and leisure experience that unfolded into a five-hour voyage of flavor and festivity.🛥
Guests gathered at the Bucket Shrimps Restaurant (Mactan Marina Wharf) prior to the trip. From the dock, the promise was clear: this was not just a boat ride but a curated experience combining gastronomy, entertainment, and the natural beauty of a sunset cruise.🌅
Once aboard the Rockstar Yacht, the mood was immediately set by a DJ booth program, creating a lively atmosphere. With 50 guests, the setting remained intimate enough for meaningful conversations while still carrying the energy of a private festival.🪇
The centerpiece of the journey was the buffet — a generous spread that celebrated both local and international flavors. The star of the table was Cebu lechon, its crisp skin and succulent meat offering a familiar comfort.🍖 Alongside it were Cajun shrimps and mussels, rich with spice and butter, and seafood pasta. Garlic butter scallops added a touch of indulgence, while barbecue chicken and pork provided a smoky, hearty balance. Fresh fruits offered a refreshing finish to the meal.🍉
The drinks flowed just as generously. Guests were treated to a selection of iced tea, soda, and water, complemented by bottles of wine and pitchers of sangria. The relaxed policy of no corkage invited guests to bring along their own favorites, and it brought Kingland Nikka Whisky, Suntory Whisky, and Hine Cognac. Other guests contributed Chivas Regal 18, Hendrick’s Gin, Martini, and others.🍾🍻
Beyond the table, the yacht transformed into a playground on water by the coast of Shangri-La Mactan. Guests either dove into the sea, went jet skiing, or enjoyed banana boat rides, while safety ensured throughout provided life vests and onboard facilities such as a shower room. Even children participated in the fun, making it a well-rounded outing for families.🪂⛵️
As the afternoon transitioned into evening, the highlight arrived: the sunset that painted the sky in hues of gold and amber. It was a moment that inspires pause, a quiet contrast to the lively activities earlier in the day.
