‘JUST ENJOY YOUR LIFE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE TIME’ 💗

Luisa Yu gave advice to the public after she was hailed as the the oldest Filipino to travel to all 193 United Nations member countries at the age of 79 years old in November 2023.

“Just enjoy your life while you still have time. Traveling is therapy. ’Pag nasa bahay ako, marami akong sakit. ’Pag nagta-travel ako, nawawala lahat,” Yu said, encouraging others to pursue travelling regardless of age.

At age 77, Yu fulfilled a lifelong dream by skydiving in Dubai, an activity initially advised against by her doctor but eventually approved due to her determination.

Before travelling the world, Yu worked as a medical technologist and later became a US citizen. She also overcame challenges as a single mother while building her career.
