To improve immigration efficiency and speed up the entry process, a mandatory update to immigration procedures has taken effect at Tan Son Nhat International Airport from 15 April 2026.

📌 What’s new:
📝 Applicable passengers must complete a personal information declaration before arrival, including:
- Foreign passport holders
- Overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam with a valid visa

📲 A QR code will be issued upon successful submission and must be presented at immigration

✅ Limit: 100Wh – A maximum of 2 power banks per passenger is allowed.
❌ Charging Policy: For safety reasons, charging your power bank on board is strictly prohibited.
⚠️ Power banks must have a clearly indicated capacity label—preferably in Watt-hours (Wh) or milliampere-hours (mAh).

The New NAIA Infra Corp. advises passengers traveling to or from the Middle East to check their flight status before going to NAIA due to possible delays, rerouting, or cancellations caused by airspace restrictions.

Passengers and those meeting arrivals should contact their airline for updates, as schedules may change.

New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) assures that it is closely coordinating with airlines and aviation authorities to ensure safe and orderly operations.

- Shenzhen Airlines (ZH)

From Terminal 3 to Terminal 1

- Philippines AirAsia (Z2) – International flights only

Effective April 1, 2026

From Terminal 1 to Terminal 3

- Japan Airlines (JL)

Passengers are advised to verify their terminal assignment with their airline prior to travel.
