'Amihan' Season Transition

The Philippines is now transitioning to northeast monsoon or 'amihan' season and will soon experience lower temperature according to PAGASA. There was a significant weakening of the southwest monsoon or 'habagat' over the past few days which is suggesting that the season has officially ended.

Lipa City is one of the few cities with higher elevation in Luzon. It boasts an elevation of roughly 1,025 feet above sea level and a plateau between mountains of Malarayat and Maculot which make its weather lower than average Philippine temperature by 3°C-5°C all year round and colder during yuletide season until March of the following year approximately.

This week, Lipa City temperature is forecasted to be low at an average of 22°C at night and high at an average of 30°C during the day with cloudy skies and scattered rains in general.
