LGU Loreto through Tourism, Culture and Arts Division paid tribute to the life and work of our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

The simple wreath laying was held at the Plaza 17 de Octubre, Municipal Hall Compound, December 30, 2024.

Join us in celebrating the 90th birthday and 11th Local Hero's Day in honor of the revered 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗻 𝗘. 𝗘𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗼, 𝗦𝗿. Let us reminisce his life, works and mission for the new generation as a visionary leader of the Province of Dinagat Islands; his teachings of love, humility, and respect for one another.

He demonstrated kindness by deeds as much as words. He instilled a spirit of voluntarism in each member. Every Dinagatnon has developed from that same seed to fulfill their particular mission and make sacrifices for the greater good.

Nagsagawa ng sabayang pagtaas ng watawat at pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa iba't ibang bantayog niya sa buong bansa, kabilang ang:

- Pook ng Kapanganakan ni Bonifacio, Tutuban, Maynila
- Dambanang Pang-alaala ng Pinaglabanan, Lungsod ng San Juan

From the desk of Municipal Tourism Officer

Starting November 15 to November 30, 2024 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE along Purok 1B Sinayaw and NAPOCOR area in Barangay Esperanza affected the junction road to BONSAI FOREST due to project of TRIP-C & DPWH road concreting.

TRIP-C is a convergence program of the DOT and DPWH enhancing tourism access aimed at creating a system for planning, identification, evaluation, and funding for roads leading to tourism destinations.
