We are doing all we can to cope with the backlog in refunds after the global pandemic forced us to cancel more than 60,000 PAL flights since March 2020, affecting over 1.3 million passengers. It has taken time, but we are progressively improving our processing capabilities, and we have so far refunded about 80% of more than PHP 15.9 billion COVID-related refund requests.

We have also enhanced some of our polices to give you more flexibility amid the evolving pandemic situation and travel uncertainties.
