PUBLIC ADVISORY

In view of the 7.6 and 6.9 doublet earthquakes which struck the Province of Davao Oriental last October 10, 2025, trekking activities in Mt. Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary is temporarily suspended from October 12-31, 2025 until further notice.

Trail inspection is set to be conducted to assess the hazard and risk due to the cracks along Lantawan Uno.

For those who have scheduled climb from October 12-31, MHRWS staff will contact you through the page (Mt. Hamiguitan Trekking) for further arrangement.

We humbly appeal to organizations not recognized by the PAMO to refrain from organizing and/or advertising trekking activities in your respective page.
