Taiwan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lin Chia-lung, made an official announcement extending the visa exemption for Filipinos from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026, during the Philippine Independence Day event in Taipei.

Under the visa-free privilege policy, Filipinos with a trip duration of 14 days or less are eligible for visa exemption.
