After graduating from a recognized German university, international students can apply for an 18-month post-study residence permit (Job-Seeking Visa) to find a job related to their degree.

✅ You can work full-time during the 18 months to support yourself
📌 Core Requirements:
• Proof of Degree — official certificate or transcript from an accredited German university
• Proof of Financial Means — blocked account, scholarship, or declaration of commitment (approx. €947–€1,091/month)
• Valid Health Insurance
• Valid Passport
• Registered German Address (Anmeldung) & biometric photos
• Completed residence permit application form
📝 How to Apply:
1️⃣ Book an appointment with your local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) before your student permit expires
2️⃣ Prepare all required documents
3️⃣ Attend your appointment and pay the application fee (usually up to €100)
💼 Once you secure a qualified job, you can immediately switch to:
• A German work permit, or
• The EU Blue Card
