Confirmed cases: 45
Discharged: 7 (16%)
Outstanding: 38 (84%)
Cases tested negative: 581 (94%)
Cases pending test results: 39 (6%)
As of February 10, seven patients have been discharged:
• 6 Chinese Nationals
• 1 Singaporean, who had been evacuated from Wuhan
The Singapore authorities have taken the following steps to further limit the risk of community spread:
• All new visitors with recent travel history to Mainland China within the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Singapore, or to transit through Singapore.
• Previously issued short-term and multiple-visit visas for those with PRC passports have also been suspended. During this period of suspension, they will not be allowed entry into Singapore.
• All other travellers should monitor their health closely for 2 weeks upon entering Singapore. They should seek medical attention promptly if they feel unwell, and also inform their doctor of their travel history. If they have a fever or respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, runny nose), they should wear a mask and call the clinic ahead of the visit.
• While those with People’s Republic of China passports and no travel history to Mainland China for more than 14 days will not be able to enter Singapore, they may transit through Singapore. However, those holding People's Republic of China passports issued in Hubei (except for Singapore residents and long-term pass holders) will not be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore regardless of their travel history.
• Returning residents (Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents) and long-term pass holders, including those with People’s Republic of China passports issued in Hubei, with travel history to Mainland China within the last 14 days will be allowed entry into Singapore. This group will be subjected to temperature screenings. If assessed necessary by medical staff, they will be either placed in a quarantine facility or asked to take a mandatory 14-day leave of absence.
