From the inspiring Opening Ceremony led by Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco and our esteemed VIP guests, the keynote speech of Ms. Susan Santos de Cardenas on regenerative tourism, to the exhibit tour showcasing the best of Philippine tourism and green travel innovations of all NTEX partners and exhibitors.

The Forum on "Sustainable Tourism: Inspiring Responsible Travel" further strengthened our commitment to a greener future, capped by the meaningful partnership signing with the National University MOA to support tourism education and next-generation leaders. Together, we continue championing a sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready Philippine Tourism industry.

I am deeply honored to receive the Champion of Philippine Tourism Award from the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies.

This recognition reflects work that begins at the grassroots, listening to communities, standing with our tourism frontliners, and pursuing pragmatic solutions despite hardship and headwinds.

Every day, we at the Department of Tourism strive to work as hard as we can for an industry that embodies the culture, love of country, and pride of our people.

Behind this award are the stories of Filipinos who inspire us: the worker who serves tirelessly, the communities rebuilding after calamities, and the small businesses holding on to hope. It is for them, for their welfare and dignity, that we continue the work of transforming Philippine tourism.

Through challenges and trials, I have learned that tourism is not just about destinations. It is about people, their livelihoods, and their dreams. Thank you, NAITAS, for this honor. I share it with every worker, stakeholder, and community who continues to rise above difficulties, strengthening the Philippines as a tourism nation for all.

Our regional offices and attached agencies from the Department of Tourism brought the richness of every region to the expo, presenting products that promote partnerships and open up exciting new pathways for inbound travel through the NAITAS business to business program. With these offerings, even more travelers are inspired to discover the many reasons to Love the Philippines!
