This June, we feature a destination that's well known for its geological wonders, scuba diving, surfing, history, and coastal highways! Eastern Visayas is comprised of the Leyte and Samar islands which is known for the Waray language, with some parts mixed with Bisaya. Today, the Philippines celebrates its 127th year of independence. From 1898 when the Philippine Flag was unfurled from the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite, the country commemorates its right to freedom and liberty with this date.

With this, as the declaration of today being a regular non-working holiday, our offices will be closed and will be resuming its operations tomorrow, June 13, 2025 (Friday).

We wish to inform everyone that as we enjoin our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating Eid'l Adha or the Feast of the Sacrifice, our offices will be closed for the day for the said commemoration. Eid'l Adha is declared as a regular non-working holiday in the Philippines to celebrate this great feast. Resumption of our offices will be on Monday, June 9, 2025.
