Posting for awareness‼️

Cebu Pacific has a policy (this happened at NAIA Terminal 3, and my flight was MNL–DVO). Your hand-carry luggage must fit inside their baggage sizer. Otherwise, you’ll be required to check it in and pay Php 2,500.

The frustrating part is that they only tell you this AFTER (‼️‼️) you’ve already checked in your other luggage.

Take note: I was able to bring the exact same luggage as a hand-carry on my DVO–MNL flight.

Anyway, what’s done is done. I just hope this helps friends who have upcoming trips.

Edit: thank you for those who commented this isn’t a new rule, they’ve just become more strict in implementing this time.. heads up nalang sa may mga byahe.

CEBU PACIFIC CHECKED BAGGAGE POLICY EXPLAINED ✈️🧳

Maraming nalilito sa baggage rules ng Cebu Pacific Air lalo na pagdating sa DAMI ng bag at BAGGAGE POOLING. Kaya eto ang simplified explanation 👇

✅ IMPORTANTENG RULES:

1️⃣ Bawat pasahero puwedeng bumili ng hanggang 3 checked baggage.

Puwedeng piliin ang:
• 20kg
• 24kg
• 28kg
• 32kg

👉 Maximum total = 96kg per passenger

PERO…

❗Bawal na may kahit isang bag na lalagpas ng 32kg.

2️⃣ PWEDE ANG BAGGAGE POOLING

Basta:
✔️ Magkakasama kayo bumiyahe
✔️ Parehong flight number
✔️ Sabay mag-check in
✔️ Same booking reference

Sa baggage pooling puede pagsamahin ng mga pasaherong magkakasabay sa biyahe ang kanilang baggage allowance upang maiwasan ang excess baggage fees.

🧳 HALIMBAWA #1

Ang binili mo:
✅ 1 checked baggage = 20kg

❌ Hindi puwede:
2 bags na tig-10kg.

Bakit?
Dahil ISANG checked baggage lang ang binili mo.

🧳 HALIMBAWA #2

Ang binili mo:
✅ 2 checked baggage
✅ 20kg bawat isa
✅ Total allowance = 40kg

Puwede:
✔️ Bag 1 = 32kg
✔️ Bag 2 = 8kg

ALLOWED yan dahil:
✅ Total = 40kg pa rin
✅ Walang bag na lagpas 32kg

PERO ❌ HINDI puwede:
🚫 Bag 1 = 34kg
🚫 Bag 2 = 6kg

Kahit 40kg pa rin ang total.

Bakit?
Dahil may isang bag na lagpas sa 32kg limit.

🧳HALIMBAWA NG BAGGAGE POOLING

Ang baggage allowance nina Ana at Ben na magkasama sa biyahe at sa ticket, at sabay na nag check in:

✅ 20kg bawat isa
✅ Total allowance = 40kg

Puwede:
✔️ Bag ni Ana = 25kg
✔️ Bag ni Ben = 15kg

ALLOWED yan dahil:
✅ Total = 40kg pa rin
✅ Walang excess baggage fee

✔️ Ang total weight na binili mo ang maximum limit mo.

✔️ Ang bilang ng baggage na binili mo ang allowed na dami ng bags.

✔️ Walang kahit anong bag ang dapat lumagpas ng 32kg.

✔️ Puede mag baggage pooling kayo ng kasama mo pag pareho ang booking reference number niyo at sabay kayo nag check in.

💡 TIP PARA MAKATIPID:

Kapag nasa check-in counter ka na at sinisingil ka ng excess baggage fee, tingnan mo muna ang oras ⏰

👉 Hanggang 2 HOURS before flight, puwede ka pang bumili ONLINE ng baggage allowance — mas mura kaysa airport rates.
