DAY 7 — A JOURNEY THROUGH THE SEA OF GALILEE AND MOUNT TABOR

Another beautiful day of faith, fellowship, and unforgettable experiences as our pilgrims traveled for about two hours toward the breathtaking Sea of Galilee.

Our journey brought us to Capernaum and the shores of the Sea of Galilee, places deeply connected to the ministry of Jesus and the apostles. We visited Tabgha, including the traditional site associated with the appearance of the Risen Christ to His disciples and the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter, where the rock known as Mensa Christi is preserved.

We also visited the Mount of Beatitudes, the peaceful hillside traditionally associated with Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. The site is cared for by the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, providing a serene atmosphere for prayer and reflection.

The journey continued to Mount Tabor, where we visited the magnificent Basilica of the Transfiguration, commemorating the Transfiguration of Jesus. Standing in this sacred place was truly a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone.

And of course, no visit to the Sea of Galilee would be complete without tasting the famous St. Peter's Fish (Tilapia). We enjoyed this local specialty while taking in the beauty of the region, which is also known for its abundant banana plantations.

Day 7 was truly a beautiful blend of faith, history, nature, fellowship, and wonderful food — another precious chapter in our Holy Land pilgrimage.

DAY 6 | WALKING WHERE JESUS WALKED

Today was not simply another day of sightseeing. Today, we walked through the pages of the Gospel.

With every step along the Via Dolorosa, our hearts were reminded of the immense love, sacrifice, and suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ. We reflected on the Stations of the Cross, experiencing 9 stations along our journey and 5 more at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

We visited St. Anne’s Church, where its beautiful acoustics made our prayers and songs especially moving, followed by the Pool of Bethesda, a place deeply connected to the healing ministry of Jesus.

At the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, we paused in prayer and reflection, humbled by the sacredness of this holy place.

We continued to the Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu, remembering Peter’s painful triple denial of Jesus—and the powerful reminder that even in our moments of weakness, God’s mercy and love remain.

Our pilgrimage continued to the Original Baptismal Site, before ending with a memorable visit to the Dead Sea, where our pilgrims enjoyed the extraordinary beauty and uniqueness of this place.

Today, we didn't just see the Holy Land. We felt it. We prayed through it. We walked through its stories.

And perhaps the greatest blessing of all is knowing that every step brings us closer—not only to the places where Jesus walked, but also closer to Him in our own hearts.

Day 6 — A journey of faith, a walk of prayer, and memories that will remain forever.

DAY 5 – WALKING IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF FAITH

Today was truly a day filled with faith, history, breathtaking views, delicious food, and wonderful memories.

Our September pilgrims journeyed through the sacred places of Mount of Olives, overlooking the beautiful and historic city of Jerusalem. From the Chapel of the Ascension, to Dominus Flevit, where we reflected on Jesus’ tears over Jerusalem, and the peaceful Garden of Gethsemane—home of the Church of All Nations, also known as the Church of Gethsemane or the Basilica of the Agony—every stop brought us closer to the heart of our faith.

We also visited the Chapel of the Shepherd’s Field and the Shepherd’s Field Gate, remembering the humble shepherds who received the joyful announcement of Christ’s birth.

Our journey continued to the magnificent Church of the Nativity, a place of profound significance where we remembered the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

And of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without some awesome shopping, delicious food, laughter, and fellowship among our wonderful pilgrims.

Every place, every prayer, every meal, every smile, and every shared moment becomes part of a beautiful pilgrimage story that we will carry in our hearts forever.

DAY 4 | FROM TABA TO THE HOLY LAND

Today was truly a day filled with faith, history, and unforgettable encounters!

From crossing the Taba Border into Israel, our pilgrimage continued to the ancient city of Jericho, traditionally known as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. We stood in awe before the majestic Mount of Temptation, a powerful reminder of Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness.

We also had a glimpse of the Sycamore Tree, recalling the story of Zacchaeus, who climbed a sycamore tree just to see Jesus.

Our journey then brought us to the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) in Jerusalem—a deeply moving place of prayer where we witnessed people from around the world offering their prayers and hopes.

And to complete this beautiful day, we celebrated Holy Mass at the Church of the Good Shepherd, giving thanks for the grace, protection, and blessings that continue to accompany our pilgrimage.

Every step, every prayer, and every place we visit reminds us that this is more than a journey—it is a walk of faith, a journey of the heart, and an experience we will carry with us forever.

DAY 3 | A BLESSED JOURNEY IN ST. CATHERINE

What a truly uplifting and meaningful day!

Our September pilgrims had the beautiful opportunity to visit St. Catherine Monastery, stand before the Burning Bush, and see the ancient well where, according to tradition, Moses met his future wife, Zipporah. We were also blessed to witness the water flowing from the historic well—a simple yet powerful reminder of the stories of faith that have been passed down through generations.

And, of course, a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments, made the experience even more profound.

With hearts filled with gratitude, faith, and wonderful memories, we continued our journey toward Taba, carrying with us the inspiration of this sacred place.

Another beautiful day. Another unforgettable experience. Another reminder of God’s faithfulness.

Breathtaking experience!

We explored the world of perfume and oil essences.

We visited the Coptic Christian sites, including the Hanging Church, Holy Family Church, and Synagogue Church, walking through places rich in faith and history.

We stepped into the Egyptian Museum, surrounded by treasures from one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations.

And to cap the day, we enjoyed a lovely dinner cruise along the majestic Nile River—a perfect ending to a beautiful day!

From ancient wonders to sacred places, every moment reminds us that this journey is more than just travel—it is a pilgrimage of faith, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
