The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) brought PTAA KONEK! to Laguna and Batangas today, August 19, at Casa San Pablo in San Pablo, Laguna, bringing together travel and tourism stakeholders for a morning of dialogue, industry updates, and connections.

Present at the event were PTAA President Jaison Yang, EVP Evelyn Bondagjy, Chairman of International Affairs Evangeline Tankiang-Manotok, VP for Outbound Rowena Coloma, VP for Inbound Elena Cobarrubias, Secretary General Arnel Gomez, Asst. Secretary General Cherry Caritativo, Auditor Amie Demapindan, Asst. VP for Outbound Dominic Castillejos, Asst. VP for Inbound Kim Guzman, Asst. Treasurer Rolando Maramo, and Asst. PRO Kem Lim.

Joining the discussion were VFS Global Country Manager for Brunei and the Philippines Mr. Syed Shahen Shah and Laguna Tourism, Culture, Arts and Trade Office Division Head Ms. Necoy Lagasca.

Part of PTAA’s continuing regional engagement, PTAA KONEK! provides a platform for the association to connect directly with travel agencies and tourism stakeholders outside Metro Manila, exchange industry insights, address concerns, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

The Tourism Malaysia Roadshow made its Manila stop today, August 17, bringing together Tourism Malaysia and the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) to explore opportunities to strengthen tourism ties and cooperation between Malaysia and the Philippines.

PTAA President Mr. Jaison Yang was represented by Executive Vice President Ms. Evelyn Dy-Bondagjy, together with Vice President for Outbound Ms. Rowena Coloma, during the meeting held at the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila.

The discussions included opportunities for Tourism Malaysia to further promote Malaysia as a travel destination in the Philippine market, with PTAA presenting the PTAA Travel Tour Expo (TTE) as a key platform for reaching Filipino travelers and the local travel trade.

Last night, the halls of Centro de Turismo Intramuros glowed with warmth as PTAA partners and industry stakeholders gathered to celebrate the relationships that keep Philippine tourism moving forward.

PTAA President Jaison Yang opened the evening with a heartfelt welcome, reminding everyone why they were there: "When you support PTAA, you are not only supporting travel agents. Your support goes much further — and much deeper."
