To elevate the global competitiveness of Filipino seafarers, MOL Maritex Co., Ltd. (MOLMAT), the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), and Magsaysay Training Center (MTC) have teamed up to offer Dynamic Positioning (DP) training. After earning accreditation from the Nautical Institute (NI) on July 7–8 at the MAAP Campus in Bataan, the new DP training center is set to officially launch on July 29.

This partnership brings MOLMAT’s experience with DP systems and MAAP’s simulator facilities into one accessible training pathway. June was a vibrant celebration of inclusivity, unity, and pride as MAGSAYSAY came together to honor Pride Month 2025 🌈. Embracing our core values of respect and acceptance, we continue to nurture a workplace where everyone — regardless of gender identity — is seen, valued, and celebrated. Magsaysay People (MPs) stood loud and proud, living these values not just during Pride Month, but in how we show up for one another.

This commitment was powerfully reflected on June 28 during the 2025 Pride March and Festival, LOV3LABAN, at UP Diliman, where Magsaysay People (MPs) joined thousands in a moving show of support for the LGBTQIA+ community. More than a one-day event, our participation affirms that We Care is a value we live daily — by showing up, standing together, and celebrating the freedom to be true to oneself.
