Celebrating International Museum Day at Far Eastern University

In celebration of International Museum Day last May 18, the Far Eastern University Guides conducted immersive campus tours inspired by the initiative of the International Council of Museums - ICOM, highlighting the University’s rich cultural heritage.

Guests explored the iconic Art Deco architecture of FEU Manila, together with its historic artworks and preserved spaces that embody decades of academic and artistic legacy. The experience was led by the following Guides: Bill (IAS ’26), Faye (IHSN ’26), Rovienne (ITHM ’26), Gwyneth (IABF ’26), Maui (IAS ’29), Ria (IHSN ’29), Kiervin (IABF ’27), Brian (IABF ’27), Mathew (IABF ’27), Prince (IABF ’27), and Alyssa (IABF ’27).

For this year’s International Museum Day, the FEU Guides shares the story of Far Eastern University through a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

More than a walk around campus, this guided experience led by the FEU Guides, shares the narratives that preserve memory, identity, and institutional heritage.

Aligned with the International Council of Museums - ICOM's global celebration, this initiative reinforces the role of museums and heritage spaces in building connection and understanding in a divided world.
