MARIAN PILGRIMAGE 2026
....Tinatanong ni Trisha, ano ang paborito mong lugar? Nagsabi ako ng mga lugar at sinabi kong kakaiba pa rin ang Holy Land. Pero dito sa La Salette, hindi ako bumibisita. Umuuwi ako. Hindi ako miyembro ng kongregasyon ng Our Lady of La Salette pero alam ko anak ako ng Ina ng La Salette. Pag dumadating ako dito, sinasambit ko, Inay, nandito uli ako. Pag umuuwi ka sa bahay, hindi ka naman namimili ng ulam. Kaya kahit anong ulam, okay lang. Pag umuuwi ka sa bahay, hindi ka naman namimili ng k**a. Kahit ganun ang k**a mo, okay lang. Hindi ka naman namimili ng CR. Kaya kahit ang CR mo ganun, okay lang. Na pag naligo ka, basa lahat sa sobrang liit, di ba? Dahil, umuuwi ka. Namimiss mo ang kandong ng iyong ina. Namimiss mo ang yapos. umuuwi ako dito sa La Salette.

Hindi ako nagpi-pilgrimage dito. Nagpapakalong, nagpapayapos, pinupunasan ang luha, inaalis ang pagod, sinusumiti ang mga maraming pagtatanong na tanging ina lamang ang nakakaintindi. Only a mother can understand. Hindi ako bumubisita, umuuwi. Salamat sa pagsama nyo sa aking pag-uwi dito. Kaya paminsan-minsan, kahit summer, naglalambing ang ina, nagpapasnow. Di po ba, ano? Ganyan talaga ang nanay. Pag umuwi ka, naglalambing. Kahit ordinaryong champorado, sumasarap. My dear friends, my brothers and sisters, there are things you will not understand. There are things you have not understand. There are reasons for your mourning and grieving and sadness, frustrations. Someday you will be able to understand it. Someday, Our Lady, Our Mother, if she cannot explain it to you, still, she can cuddle you and I will embrace you. Let our Mother do it for you.

Hindi namang kalapastanganan, bagamat hindi ako bahagi ng kongregasyon ng La Salette, sinabi kong ako'y anak din. Kaya sa lugar na ito, hindi ako bumibisita. Uuwi ako. Paminsan-minsan mahalagang umuwi. Paminsan-minsan punasan ang luha, ipagpag ang pagod, damhin ang init ng pagmamahal, ang yapos ng isang ina na hindi na huhusga, punong-puno ng pagmamahal. Ang ina ko, ina nyo rin. Marahil ngayon nyo lang siya nakilala, ang ating mga pagluha ay pagluha niya. Amen.

Let us pray:
Remember, dear Lady of La Salette, true Mother of Sorrows, the tears which thou didst shed for me on Calvary; be mindful also of the unceasing care which thou dost exercise to shield me from the justice of God; and consider whether thou canst now abandon thy child, for whom thou hast done so much. Inspired by this consoling thought, I come to cast myself at thy feet, in spite of my infidelity and ingratitude. Reject not my prayer,

O Virgin of reconciliation, convert me, obtain for me the grace to love Jesus Christ above all things and to console thee too by living a holy life, in order that one day I may be able to see thee in Heaven. Amen.

AT THE SANCTUARY OF OUR LADY OF LA SALETTE, France, where the Notre Dame de La Salette appeared to 2 shepherd children on September 19, 1846 with Fr. David Tampus Concepcion and Fr. Joel Rescober.

What was striking was the question asked of the Blessed Mother to the shepherd children: “Do you say your prayers WELL?”

Meaning, we shouldn’t just pray. We should do it even if we are busy, even when we are tired. To do it well is to make it a priority in our lives because prayer is what will sustain us in trial and difficulty. We should do it, not as a task but out of love, because of our relationship with God.

MASS AT THE GROTTO OF MASSABIELLE in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, France with Fr. David Tampus Concepcion and Fr. Joel Rescober.

This was the place where Bernadette Soubirous is said to have seen the Lourdes apparitions. The Lourdes water flows from a spring located inside the cave.

The original spring can be seen within the grotto, lit from below and protected by a glass screen. Pilgrims drink Lourdes water due to its reputed healing power.
