How to get there?

1. From Pasay City near MRT EDSA Taft station, take a bus bound for Calatagan, Batangas (Crow Bus or Celyrosa Bus). First trip to Calatagan is at 4:00AM and last trip is at 4:30PM. You can opt to take a commuter van if you fancy. They’re parked in the basement of Metropoint Mall in Taft Pasay. There are also buses going to Calatagan from Manuela Metropolis Alabang (Metropolis Mall) if you’re coming from the South. Rate is P150 – P180.

2. Travel time from Manila is about 3 hours via Aguinaldo Highway – Tagaytay – Nasugbu.

3. Alight at the bus terminal in Calatagan town proper and take a tricycle to Bgy. Bagong Silang (P100 – P150). Be ready for a bumpy ride.

The last trip back to Manila is at 4:00PM so make sure to leave the resort earlier. Ask the tricycle driver to pick you up from the resort since there are no public vehicles available in the area.

If you are going to Calatagan via private car:

Just take SLEX and exit at Sta Rosa. Drive towards Tagaytay. Follow the directions to Nasugbu, Batangas and go straight all the way to the junction of Palico. From Palico junction, you will pass by Lian, before entering the town of Calatagan. Ask around when you reach Calatagan town proper. Locals are very helpful. They will show you the way to Stilts. Turn right when you see the Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort signage. Continue driving until you reach the guard house wherein you will have to present proof of reservation before being allowed into the area. Yes, no walk-ins.

A 3hours away from Antipolo City.

With the scorching summer heat, it would be a great relief to take a swim in a cold spring pool. Dalitiwan Resort in Majayjay, Laguna is a perfect destination for those seeking respite from the unbearable temperature. Dalitiwan Resort has a man-made pool but the water in it comes from the cold springs of Mt. Banahaw. The water in the swimming pool is all natural, untreated/unchlorinated. This cold spring resort is a great getaway for families because of the amenities they provide - cottages for day trips and overnight stay, grilling area, and of course, the swimming pool.

If you intend to go to Dalitiwan Resort, you must bring your own food as there are no restaurants or fastfood joints in the area. Grilling stations are also provided. The resort rates are the following:

Whole day entrance fee: PhP 80 per Adult and PhP 70 per child

Overnight entrance fee: PhP 150 per adult and PhP 140 per child.

How to get there?

Take a bus going to Sta.Cruz/ Calamba (H.M. / Greenstar Bus Terminal):
From Cubao (H.M. Transit) behind Mang Inasal along EDSA right side before Aurora if you’re from Kamias
From Buendia/LRT (Greenstar Transit) along Taft Ave. right side before Buendia if you’re from Libertad

When in Sta. Cruz, Laguna:
Take a jeep going to Liliw/Nagcarlan and take off at Sambat – Majayjay (fare ₱ 17.00)
Take a tricycle going to Majayjay Town Proper – Tricycle Terminal @ A.Luna St. (Special Trip ₱ 70.00 or ₱ 20.00/pax maximum of four )
Take another tricycle to Dalitiwan Resort (Special Trip ₱ 40.00 or ₱ 20.00/pax )

or

Once in Sta. Cruz, Laguna:
Take a tricycle(P10.00) to Majayjay jeep terminal for P34.00/ person. Take another tricycle to Dalitiwan Resort (Special Trip ₱ 40.00 or ₱ 20.00/pax ) once you are in Majayjay town proper.

A 5 hour and 30 mins away from Antipolo City, intoducing, Potipot Island 🍃🌴🍃🌴🍃🌴

Experience in Potipot without even going to Cebu!! This place is worth everything!! Definitely one place adventurous souls have to visit at least once in their lives.

How to get there?

1. Take a bus to Sta. Cruz Zambales. Victory Liner offers this route at their Pasay, Cubao or Caloocan Terminals. Go down at Uacon Barangay Hall in Candelaria. Travel time is around 7 hours. Take note that Victory Liner does not have a lot of schedule for this route. It’s better to call the terminal beforehand.

2. Once in Uacon Barangay Hall, take a tricycle to the jump-off to Potipot Island. Travel time is around 5 – 10 minutes. You can ask tricycle drivers to bring you to the boats to Potipot Island. Also make sure to buy your supplies at Uacon since there are no stores on the island.

3. Take a boat to Potipot Island. Travel time is around 10 – 15 minutes.

Where to stay?

There are no hotels or inns available in Potipot Island. There are a few cottages for rent but according to manong bangkero, it easily gets fully-booked. Tent rentals are also available but it is not a regular service on the island. You have to talk to your boatman if you’re planning to rent one.

> Transportation: P447 Pasay to Uacon. P451 Sta. Cruz to Caloocan. P50 Tricycle to boat jump-off. P400 Boat to Potipot Island good for 6 persons. P200 Tricycle from Uacon to Sta. Cruz.
> Accommodation: Free. Cottage and Tent rentals available.
> Food: Free. No stores available on the island. Grilling stations are present but we’re not sure if it’s free to use.
Entrance Fees: P100 per head for daytrip and P300 for overnight.
