This is one of our favorite beaches. 45minutes to an hour of bumpy tricycle ride from the town proper of El Nido, Palawan, you can find one of the most gorgeous places ever. I was kind of "selfish" with Nacpan beach when I first saw it coz I don't want the place to be too commercialized but, obviously, I can't help raving about it. Haha Palm-fringed island with white-ish sand and friendly locals! You can stay here overnight for a very cheap price. There is no electricity though, save for the generators that will open at 6pm to 10pm. But that what makes Nacpan beautiful. It's just you and the waves kissing the shore. Wake up early and feel like you own the island. Trek to the top of a small mountain and see the Twin beaches Nacpan and Calitang. Make friends with the locals. And eventually find yourself planning your next trip as soon as you leave.
