Arkisens constantly tries to manipulate space, creating surfaces that suggest movement and dynamism. In this way, space itself expands and contracts, insinuating new encounters and experiences for its users. As a result, each project responds as a unique, holistic solution that appeals to all the senses by incorporating the dynamics of everyday life.

Super proud of this collaboration 🥹 — a 500+ sqm proof-of-concept exhibit of Arkisens’ proposed Children’s Museum in Ibaan, Batangas for CANVAS, to coincide with their 20th anniversary ❤️

The show at the National Museum of the Philippines will open to the public on June 14 and will run for a year, with monthly events for kids (and adults!) already in the pipeline! Kitakits, mga bata at mga batang isip!!! 👋🏼

This nine-square meter food stall from 20 years ago was our three-man studio’s first ever design-build project. The team may have progressed to substantially larger commissions two decades after, but the humbling experiences, values and ties forged then remain just as strong and relevant today. While the last 12 months proved to be really tough for our small group, we carry on with optimism and determination, all thanks to our families, team members, clients and collaborators who continue to believe and support our work ❤️
