ITINERARY OF TRAVEL:
DAY 1: Departure day
Start point Helsinki Railway Station, Mikonkatu 19, 00100 Helsinki, Finland 19:30
Please, arrive 30 minutes earlier at the departure point!
21:00 Departure from Helsinki Railway station (Mikonkatu in front of Casino).
Overnight on the bus. Gas station breaks every 4-5 hours.
The gas stations are well equipped: there are toilets, grocery stores, and cafรฉs.
DAY 2: Arrival in Lapland, Santa Claus Village
07:30 Bus Departure from Rovaniemi Railway Station

Grocery shopping stop. You will have the chance to buy groceries (stop duration 1h)
Afternoon activity - Santa Claus Village visit (2.5 hours)- Included
Cross the Arctic circle and meet Santa Claus, elves and reindeer! Here you can also find Santaโs post office and send your greetings to your friends with a special stamp! This place is full of magic and the Christmas spirit!

A three-hour excursion through Kilpisjรคrvi lake to the most peaceful border of the world โ to the border stone of Sweden, Norway, and Finland in Kuoltavuoma.

DAY 4: Husky safari (included), Night snowshoe hike (optional)
Morning activity - Husky safari (included)
Alaskan huskies are cheerful and strong dogs who really like to pull the sledge! After a short instruction lesson, the huskies will take you for a tour through the snowy landscapes.

10-20 min husky sleigh ride, half of it you will be the driver, the other half - the passenger. The actual duration depends on the husky performance according to weather and snow conditions.

We will get to experience one of the most ancient ways of moving in deep snow, which is still used today. We get off the beaten track and explore a winter wonderland that would be hard to access on foot or skis. What a better way to immerse yourself in nature!
DAY 5: Transfer to Sweden, trip to Tromsรธ (included)

09:00 Trip to Tromsรธ (included)
Bus Tour to the picturesque town of Tromsรธ.
You will see a beautiful fjord area and make some photo stops (weather permitting).

20:00-21:00 Arrival to Bjรถrkliden, Sweden.

DAY 6: Arctic skills (included), Hike in Abisko and lunch (included)
Morning activity - Arctic skills (included)
Learn about true survival in arctic conditions. You will learn how to make fire without matches and how to make a shelter when the snowstorm comes!
Afternoon activity - Hike in Abisko National Park and lunch (included)
Snow-covered mountains frame the beautiful Abisko valley, where frozen rapids, frost-covered tundra, and the icy Tornetrรคsk lake create a breathtaking Arctic scene. The guide will take you on a short hike and show you the Abiskojรฅkka river canyon, Sami art work and other points of interest. For the brave ones there will be a chance to take an ice-cold dip in the lake. After that, enjoy lunch, included in the price, in the Abisko visitor centre.

DAY 7: Cross-country skiing (optional), Meet the Sรกmi and their reindeer (included)
Morning activity - Cross-country skiing (optional)
We will get to try one of the oldest winter sports, which is also the national sport of the Nordics.
13:30 Departure to Rensjรถn.
Afernoon activity - Meet the Sรกmi and their reindeer (included)
We will visit Rensjรถn, where you will learn about the traditional way of life of the indigenous people of Sweden, the Sรกmi, their deep connection to the land and the significance of reindeer herding. In addition, you will get to feed the reindeer and take lots of photos with them.
17:00 Arrival back to Bjรถrkliden.
DAY 8: Check-out, Ice hotel visit (included)
08:00 Check-out and cleaning the cottages.
Departure to Kiruna and the ice hotel. If you don't go to the ice hotel, you will have free time in Kiruna.
Afternoon activity - Ice hotel visit (included)
Visit the Jukkasjรคrvi ice hotel - the world's first, most famous and largest ice hotel.
14:00 Stop in the new city centre of Kiruna for everybody. Buy snacks for the drive back to the south.
15:30 Bus transportation back home.
20:15 Estimated arrival time in Rovaniemi, drop-off at the railway station.
