As part of our ongoing efforts in honoring our heroes who fought and sacrificed their lives in World War II, Travel and Tours Guia Del Mar is proud to launch a Corregidor Special Tour on May 6, 2026 – Commemorating the 84th Anniversary of The Fall of Corregidor Island.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY:
• To commemorate the gallantry of the soldiers who fought and gave their lives on the island;
• To provide an opportunity for relatives and friends of veterans to visit and honor their loved ones;
• To established this as a yearly commemorative event every 6th of May.
In order to make access more convenient, we are offering two points of entry to the island:
1) Ferry services from Manila,
2) And our regular Bataan–Corregidor route.
This special tour will include on-site historical narratives and analysis at every destination points on the island to give our guests a better understanding of the events and circumstances from the defense, resistance and the unfortunate incidents that led to its surrender.
We encourage you to join us in our special tour and have the chance to experience what its like to go back in time and have the opportunity to interact with our guest resource person who is the foremost authority of Corregidor Island and an expert in Philippine WW2 history.
