INFOGRAPHIC: Starting 14 May 2019, the DFA will no longer issue Authentication Certificates and will instead affix an Apostille to authenticated documents for use abroad.
As of May 2019, these are the countries and territories where the Philippine Apostille will be honored. If you are using your document in these countries, there is no more need for legalization by the Embassies or Consulates of these countries in the Philippines.
Conversely, public documents executed in these countries and territories that will be used in the Philippines no longer have to be authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate once Apostillized.
