We are truly grateful to have welcomed Sachzna Laparan, Jomar Lovena, Daddy Blue, and Boss G here at Villa Carmen Pools and Beach. Their visit brought so much joy not just to us, but also to the many fans and locals who look up to them. This visit also became extra meaningful as it marked the first ever direct tour from Villa Carmen to Laki Beach. To have this maiden voyage shared with such well-loved personalities makes the moment even more special. No need to travel far to Porto Del Sol, no extra transfers — from Villa Carmen, it only takes a few steps to board and set out on an adventure to one of Bataan’s most beautiful beaches.

At Villa Carmen Pools & Beach, we care for over 30 rescued Aspins who now call this place home. Once abandoned or mistreated, they now walk freely across the grounds, respected, well-fed, and deeply loved. Each one is fully vaccinated, regularly cared for by our vet, and rabies-free.

We don’t cage them or tie them down. This is their sanctuary as much as it is ours. They are not just residents. They are family.

When the Masons of Mariveles had no place to gather, Luis J. Reyes, a dedicated public servant and respected Mason, offered Villa Carmen as their meeting place. He believed deeply in the principles of brotherhood and community, and set aside land at Villa Carmen for the construction of a future Masonic lodge. Although he passed away before the lodge was built, his vision lived on.

Today, the Luis J. Reyes Memorial Lodge No. 224, built in close proximity to Villa Carmen Pools & Beach, stands as a testament to his outreach to his brothers in the craft. In this rare 1929 photograph of Logia Solidaridad No. 23, Luis J. Reyes is seated in the front row, leftmost chair. His values and service continue to inspire us at Villa Carmen, where we proudly honor his Masonic roots.
