HOW TO PREVENT LOST LUGGAGE/MISHANDLED BAGGAGE

1.) ✅ Properly pack your stuff, make sure you know carefully in detailed what’s inside and where you placed a specific item if you will be carrying 2 pieces or more bags.

2.) ✅ Lock, seal or wrap your luggage.

Better to use luggage padlock aside from the luggage combination lock.

You may use any marker that would identify your bags.

Remember, not only you in the world has that type of bag and oftentimes, your bag is similar to other passenger, so be careful.

3.) ✅ Check in counter.

Tell the counter how many bags u have for check in,

watch carefully how the counter staff print your baggage claim stickers and how they attached the stickers.

Your final destination airport code must appeared on the sticker

( MNL - for MANILA bound passengers)

🌏 Scenario 1

ABHA - DUBAI - MANILA

(FLYDUBAI and EMIRATES)

- sticker will show DXB/MNL,

if sticker shows AHB/DXB then ask the counter staff and verify with them

🌏 Scenario 2

ABHA - RIYADH

on FLYNAS

and RIYADH - MANILA on SAUDIA

- 2 separate tickets 1 Flynas 1 Saudia

- check in from ABHA sticker shows RUH/AHB

- upon reaching Riyadh, claim your baggage and check in again for Riyadh to Manila MNL/RUH sticker

- why do u need to check in and check out?

Because u are holding tickets which does not have airline partnership they are not codeshare

unlike FLYDUBAI and EMIRATES,

FLYNAS and PAL, SAUDIA and EMIRATES

4.) ✅ For the Hand carry,

it must be your most valuable items only

(watches, jewelry, documents, laptops, phones, powerbank, money, few medicines, extra pair of your clothes, few personal food)

and has to be 7kg in total and that applies to all airlines

5.) ✅ Baggage claiming,

identify your baggage carefully,

not just because your bag is color red,

you would pick red bag with same size

yet the brand is different.

Be careful,

examine the brand,

size,

color the locks u put on

and everything that will identify your baggage.

Don’t get confuse.

Choose and pick your OWN LUGGAGE ONLY.

Not because it is Louis Vuitton you will grab and take it.
