In the days after Typhoon Opong, the true spirit of our island revealed itself once again—resilient, compassionate, and unyielding. 🌿
Together with the Philippine Travel Agencies Association Foundation Inc., we were able to extend relief operations to our fellow tourism workers from Kaligaya Beachfront, Apar Beach, and the fishing community of Sitio Aroma—people whose livelihoods are rooted in the sea, the sand, and the simple beauty of Masbate. 💚
These are the faces behind the smiles that welcome travelers, the hands that keep our shores clean, and the hearts that make Masbate the warm and genuine island it is. Tourism is not just about destinations—it is about people. And though the storm has taken much, it has not taken their strength, nor their quiet pride in the place they call home.
