A Community Celebration Down Memory Lane!
Inviting the sweet people of Medellin, friends and everyone looking for rustic and simple joys in the countryside we call home.
In these shared moments we showcase our very own locally prepared food, delicacies and other surprises.
As we nibble and marites into the night, we will have 3 fun activities.
1. BINGO - fun, traditional played with cards and a borrowed tambiolo! Note to our Medellinons and friends who can't be with us, feel free to message us and we will play for you 🙂
2. MEDELLIN IDOLS - singing contest for 3 age groups. See details in first comment below.
3. ACOUSTICS - 3 of our Medellin talents will serenade us under the stars - Seith, Noeh and Friends, and Choi.
Why Plaza Merkado? This heart of the town spot used to be our market (Wednesdays ang Tabo!) and the meet up place where everyone knew everyone. SPECIAL PRIZE AWAITS FOR THE DAANG MERKADO NOSTALGIC POST with the most ❤️'s reaction (don't forget to tag our page )
With the town's growth and development, a bigger market was needed and the old market was transformed into a park with a fountain in the middle - the reason why some still calls it Fownten.
Improvement continues and it is indeed the Medellin People's Park where we’ve got something for all ages.
We will be sharing a peak of what's on display soon!
