The 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗧𝗖𝗢) reminds all travelers/tourists/excurssionists to exercise 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 when booking tours, particularly for trips to 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼, 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘄𝗮𝘆𝗮, 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲, originating from Bondoc Peninsula and mainland Luzon.

Recent observations have noted the increasing presence and proliferation of non-Department of Tourism (DOT) accredited travel operators offering tour packages in these destinations. While these may appear convenient or lower in cost, engaging with unaccredited providers poses significant risks/safety to visitors and the tourism industry as a whole.

Travelers are strongly advised to book 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 with DOT-accredited tour operators, guides, and frontliners.

The public is further reminded that operating primary tourism services without proper accreditation constitutes a violation of existing tourism laws and regulations, and may be subject to penalties, sanctions, or legal action.
