Of course, this meaningful cultural exchange wouldn’t have been possible without our legendary HATS officers—also known as the heroes who somehow made the whole event look flawless… even if backstage felt like a cooking reality show with contestants who were slightly confused but very determined. 😂
From the iconic “bakit ang tubig ng bigas??” moment, to confidently mixing all the ingredients because we truly believed it was the step—only to find out that Sir actually said “hiwa-hiwalay ng bowl kada ingredient, HUWAG PAGSAMAHIN.” And of course, a certain officer facing the wrath of Sir Chef. The chaos was real, the panic was silent, and the teamwork was questionable but effective. Through all of it, your dedication and humor never failed.
Despite the mini kitchen plot twists, you made sure our Japanese guests experienced a warm, fun, and seamless immersion into Filipino cuisine. Your teamwork, quick recoveries, and “just roll with it” energy truly elevated the event.
To our amazing HATS officers: thank you for going above and beyond, and for turning mistakes into memories and challenges into future inside jokes. This event wasn’t just successful—it was meaningful, memorable, and absolutely iconic because of you.
