In the creative corners of Morong, a unique coffee experience is quietly capturing the hearts of both locals and visitors.
Introducing Coffeera, a passion project born from the intersection of photography and coffee. Inspired by long hours spent editing photos with a warm cup nearby, the name itself reflects the harmony of coffee and camera, blending creativity with craftsmanship in every detail.
COFFEERA first introduced its bottled cold brew and matcha drinks during the town fiesta in February 2023, selling 62 bottles in a single day, a humble yet meaningful milestone that marked the beginning of its journey. Behind every bottle was dedication, as the founders invested time in learning the art of coffee and matcha through workshops, training, and sensory evaluation, ensuring that every cup served is grounded in knowledge and intention.
That passion soon opened doors to bigger stages, proudly representing Bataan in prestigious events such as the Philippine Brewers League 2025, the Philippine AeroPress Competition, and the Philippine Coffee Expo Brewers Cup 2025, a testament to their commitment to the craft.
Today, COFFEERAβs pop ups can often be found around Morong, most especially in its own garage turned intimate cafΓ© space along Sacristia Street in Poblacion. Inspired by Vietnamese street culture, the setup invites guests to sit on low stools and enjoy coffee in a setting that feels both simple and immersive, like stepping into a different place while staying close to home. Here, Vietnamese coffee is not just served, but experienced.
For those seeking a more refined brew, COFFEERA also offers pour over coffee, a manual method that highlights the natural character of each bean, revealing delicate notes that range from nutty to floral and fruity. Beyond coffee, guests can also enjoy usucha and Filipino inspired wagashi, made with high quality matcha sourced from Japan, bringing together culture, tradition, and artistry in every serving.
At its core, COFFEERA continues to support local farmers by working closely with local coffee roasters and using homegrown ingredients such as asin tibuok and pulot or honey from Morong, Bataan. This commitment to local sourcing adds depth and authenticity to every cup.
