I’m a good coffee or else don’t drink coffee person.

Many cafes, restaus, and 4 months later in UPLB, it is Likha that I can confidently recommend to anyone at all whose dealbreaker for a good day is coffee. If you’re tasting coffee for the very first time as well, come to Likha.

Premium beans, balanced brew ratio, artisanal.

My go-to order is Iced Bombon Latte (oat version) paired with a warm chocolate cookie. But today I tried something new; ordered a rice meal — Adobo Flakes, paired with Tultul sa Latik Latte. I thoroughly enjoyed both and feel thankful that in a fast-paced, highly-commercialized business area (outside campus), the campus has Likha which cultivates an unhurried rhythm and intentionality in celebrating local taste and ingredients.

One of the first things you do when moving to a new place is to have your room keys duplicated. Thankfully there’s Lisa & Mayeth in the UPLB community! They’re located at Ellen’s Building in Demarces. Fast service at may pa-tie wire din (very thoughtful!) to keep your keys together. And of course, yes, the duplicated keys work perfectly! 🥳

🌞 Best if umaga ang punta para magpicture kasi magcacast ka na ng shadow sa art pag hapon dahil kaharap mo na ang araw.
☂️ Maulan na sa hapon. Dun tayo sa iwas sipon.
🧺 May 2-3 kiosks sa paligid nito kung saan pwedeng tumambay at magpicnic, kaya magdala ka ng baon.
🕙 Huwag nang antayin mag-November. Tandaan, hinaharvest ang palay 😏

If y'r looking for a place to go, consider Gabaldon in Nueva Ecija! Enjoy nature, live life 🍃🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ I recommend dropping by or glamping at the Montana Conservation Camp. Walk-in kami nito but better to make sure to call ahead for reservations.

Gabaldon is a 3-4hr drive from Metro Manila via expressways. Tapos from here, konting tumbling na lang at Dingalan, Aurora na! 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️
