Update on Flights Due to Security Situation in the Middle East

Cebu Pacific (CEB) continues to closely monitor developments related to the security situation in parts of the Middle East. The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority.

CEB is extending flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion, to and from the following destinations:
· Dubai: March 1 – 4
· Riyadh: March 1 – 5

They may avail themselves of these options through the Manage Booking portal of the CEB website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure.

CEB will continue to assess its flight operations to and from the Middle East. As this remains a developing situation, further schedule adjustments may be necessary. Passengers are encouraged to check their flight status at cebupacificair.com/flight-status and ensure their contact details are updated to receive timely notifications, and to monitor updates through CEB’s official social media accounts.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) update on additional Middle East flight cancellations.

These cancellations are due to continuing operational restrictions affecting flight operations in the region.

Affected passengers may avail of rebooking or refund options in accordance with PAL policies. Passengers are advised to check flight status via the PAL website, mobile app or official social media channels before proceeding to the airport.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 🛠️✈️

Major changes are coming to Naga Airport as the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) gear up for the development of a new airport site—a key component in transforming Naga into a future-ready aviation hub for the Bicol region.

The airport improvements form part of the national “Build Better More” infrastructure agenda under the leadership of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, which directly exhibits the government’s commitment to modernizing transport facilities across the country.

The proposed New Naga Airport Development Project Phase 1 is targeted to commence by September this year and will cover earthworks and site preparation.

This development is part of the broader Naga Airport Reorientation Project, which aims to build a modern airport capable of handling full jet operations—day and night—in compliance with international civil aviation standards. Once completed, the new airport will be equipped to meet the increasing air traffic demands in Camarines Sur, while supporting the continuing growth of Naga City and surrounding municipalities as one of the Bicol region’s major growth centers.

Meanwhile, construction works at the existing Naga Airport continue to move forward. Ongoing projects include the asphalt overlay of the runway, implemented in Phases 1 and 2, with contract amounts of PHP 71.5 million under CAAP APP 2024 funding, and PHP 85.2 million under CAAP APP 2025, respectively.

These upgrades—both ongoing and upcoming—are expected to result in safer, more efficient, and more convenient air travel for Bicolanos and all passengers using Naga Airport.

New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) General Manager Angelito Alvarez announced that Terminal 1 will be exclusive to Philippine Airlines (PAL), Terminal 2 will serve domestic flights for PAL and Cebu Pacific, Terminal 3 will accommodate all international carriers, and Terminal 4 will be for AirAsia flights.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced that Davao International Airport remains OPEN and OPERATIONAL. All scheduled commercial flight are operating as per schedule.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early and coordinate with their respective airlines for any flight updates.

CAAP is working closely with local authorities to ensure the safety and security of passengers at the Davao International Airport.
