Roa. This temporary suspension is being implemented to safeguard learners, teachers, and school personnel from dangerously high heat index levels reaching up to 42°C.

During this period, public school teaching and non-teaching personnel are directed not to report physically to school and will shift to alternative work arrangements, while private school administrators are urged to enforce protective measures for their staff. Everyone is strongly advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight and strenuous outdoor activities, stay in well-ventilated areas, and seek immediate medical assistance if experiencing symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat-related illness.

Take a look at the vibrant displays and creative craftsmanship showcased during the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁, held on August 5, 2026, at the Barangay Linangkayan Covered Court.

Each booth creatively replicates the origin of Barangay Linangkayan, drawing inspiration from the "langkay" or the leaves of a coconut tree which the barangay derived its name, beautifully showcasing its history, identity, and cultural heritage.

Congratulations to all the participating Puroks for bringing the spirit of the 1st Langkay Festival to life! 🌴
