HEART OF EXPANSION | Second Branch of BOTEJYU Opens in Naga Today! 🍣✨

Today marks the grand opening of the second Botejyu branch in Naga City! This expansion not only signifies the strong economic growth and investment confidence in our city, but also reflects Nagueños' deep appreciation for diverse and authentic cuisine.

Did you know the name "Botejyu" holds a special culinary story?

Botejyu was established in 1946 in the gourmet city of Tamade, Osaka by Eikichi Nishino. The name was coined directly from the rhythmic sounds of cooking okonomiyaki on a hot iron griddle. "BOTE" represents the sound of flipping the savory pancake, while "JYU" represents the appetizing sizzling sound as it cooks on the teppan grill.

From those sizzling grills in the 1940s to two thriving locations right here in Naga, Botejyu continues to bring authentic Japanese tradition to our local community.
